For the May long weekend, I had the pleasure of attending the Phoenix Leadership Conference in Huntsville, Ontario. Four days of collaborating and participating in activities and conversations with other budding leaders aged fourteen to twenty-five made for a fantastic long weekend. Covering topics including adapting to change, making time for self-care, and understanding your influence on others, the conference serves as a great resource for those wanting to learn more about mental health and mental health care.
For anyone looking to meet new people and have fun while learning about mental health, check out the following links to learn more about the Phoenix Leadership Project and their annual conference.
If you are between the ages of 14 and 25, reside in the Southern Ontario area, are interested in attending, and have any questions about my experience, feel free to ask away!
